DJI: announced “local data mode” what This mode will allow?  you may have heard some chatter that DJI has announced plans to create an offline mode for their drones. Not surprising, According to DJI On Monday August 14, 2017, DJI announced plans to create an offline mode for their drones. The new mode allows users to fly without sharing photos, videos, and flight logs to DJI servers. DJI  has been working on this for a few months now, but word in the skies have speculated that this move is tied to the U.S. Army’s recent decision to stop using DJI drones due to alleged security concerns. This mode will allow concerned consumer and professional pilots to operate with the utmost privacy.     DJI is only growing in popularity as the hottest new Mavic Pro has been on the market. In recent weeks, it’s made skyrocketing sales on amazon, currently #1 drone and beating out big names like GoPro And as with any hot new DJI product that comes onto the scene, drone con

Mavic pro drone, the sky is truly the limit

Mavic pro drone, the sky is truly the limit DJI has outdone its self when it comes to the Mavic pro drone, the sky is truly the limit. The Mavic Pro drone comes in as the top performer in every category when it's up against its top contenders. I would like to go over the other drones on the market and without a shadow of a doubt. You will also see how inferior they are compared to the Mavic Pro In every way.        First up we have DJI Phantom 4 Pro It’s the first of its kind to offer 360-degree obstacle avoidance,  a sports mode that allows it to fly up to nearly 50mph, tap-to-focus. With the Phantom 4 Pro, you can draw a line on the supported tablet and the drone will follow it with the draw feature.  Before the Mavic Pro that was awesome, its ok your not alone we all know that you would rather sell it so you can buy a Mavic Pro.        Second up DJI Phantom 4 engineered by the same company, one of the best attributes of the Phantom 4 is that after its successor

what makes the mavic pro #1 With ActiveTrack, just tell the Mavic who to track and it handles the rest. The Mavic has been trained to detect and recognize a number of common subjects including people, bike riders, vehicles, and even animals. Depending on the mode you are in,  you can fly around the selected target  to create a huge variety of shots. You can even select exactly where you want the subject in the frame. Three modes are available Trace, Profile and Spotlight.     Every photo you take with the Mavic can be as big as 12 megapixels. Put away your controller and phone to get that perfect, natural selfie. All you need to do is put the Mavic in Gesture Mode and walk in front of it. The Mavic will automatically detect you. Raise your arms or wave to it to make Tripod Mode caps the Mavic's maximum speed at just 2.2 mph, while the control stick sensitivity of the remote controller is dulled to give you the precision you need for accurate framing.      Mavic i

The Mavic Pro Drone is one of the best drones

The Mavic Pro  Drone is one of the best drones I ever flew, over the last few years. I have flown many drones including the Walkera f210 , one of my favorite drones also because you can fly upside down and use night vision. I fell in love flying drones the moment I put my hand on the controller and I pushed the throttle up. My first drone met a smashing fate the first time I was on the stick. my drone went up to the ceiling and smash gone that's all folks. knowing that my first drone was broken and left with my heart pounding. I was set on going to get another one and determined to Learn how to Fly radio-controlled quadcopter.

The great thing about the camera on DJI Mavic Pro

Image
The great thing about the camera on DJI Mavic Pro  Drones (or any DJI camera) is that you have lots of options. You can choose to go full automatic and have the camera do everything, or go full manual and change every setting you can think of. In this example we chose to go full manual and do things the hard way for the most flexibility and control over the footage. WHAT IS D-LOG AND WHERE DO I FIND IT? For those of you that don’t know, log footage is video that was shot specifically to be color graded at a later time. The reason why the image from the Mavic drones using this color profile look so flat is because the camera is trying to compress as much of the image it can into a color range that retains the highlights, shadows and any other color information that would otherwise be lost when recording in standard picture profiles. To get the camera into this mode, you just go into the camera settings and look for a section called color, there’s lots of other color optio

Like all of DJI’s consumer drones, the Mavic Pro is ready to fly right out of the box. Just pop two propellers on and you’re good to go. Avid UAV pilots know that one battery is never enough. While the Mavic has a maximum flight time of 27 minutes, but that’s only in windless conditions and flying at a constant speed of 15kph. If you appreciate a good adrenaline rush and like flying in Sport mode, your flight time will be closer to 20 minutes, or less. Flying for just 20 minutes can be kind of a buzzkill. If you want to fly more, consider getting yourself a Mavic Pro Fly More Combo , or two or three extra batteries .
